Javier Juarez is the Co-owner and Artistic Director of Javier’s Dance Studio in Slidell. It was here that his passion for teaching and performing led him to his goal of transcending borders and languages, teaching cultural dances alongside traditional dance styles. Javier has been teaching and performing a variety of cultural and traditional dance styles and Ballroom, since 1987. However, he is most proud of the fact that he introduced, Mexican Folklore, Argentine Folklore, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata to his students. Proving that cultural diversity helps students grow into well-rounded dancers and performers.
javier is also a resident Ballroom Instructor for the Jefferson Parish Public School System. He has been actively involved in Arts and education for three decades. Having the arts in school is very important to him because he personally knows how it can make a difference in a child’s life.
Although Javier’s Dance Studio’s physical location has closed, Javier’s Legacy has continued. You can still find him teaching classes, workshops and hosting dance events throughout the area. He also has more time now to focus on his dance company.
Javier and his son Arian, are the Artistic Directors of Javier’s Dance Company. JDC showcases some of the most dynamic and talented Dancers providing sensational Dance Shows, Dance Parties, Dance Lessons, and Unique Dance Entertainment for a large array of events.
JDC was designed for experienced dancers seeking to launch their professional careers. The company also accommodates aspiring, dedicated dancers who want to take their dancing to the next level. JDC provides its members with vital public performance exposure, that is, more than just dance recitals & dance competitions. JDC also provides performance opportunities for members to actively showcase their artistic talents on a regular basis.

You will gain exposure & experience by performing publicly at various Festivals, Corporate Events, Parties and Entertainment Venues. The company performs an array of dance styles, including but not limited to, Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Tango, Swing, and Folklore. Dancers will also gain the invaluable experience of being trained to dance with a partner.
